What powerflushing does
Central heating systems collect iron oxide (magnetite), rust and scale over years. That sludge clogs radiators, makes boilers work harder and can cause cold spots — particularly common in older Southampton and Winchester terraces and in systems that haven’t had regular inhibitors. A powerflush forces high-velocity water and specialist filters through the entire loop to dislodge and remove debris, then adds corrosion inhibitors to stop it coming back.
